Raspberry jam, fig & freesia on the nose. This blend of predominantly pinotage with a fair amount of shiraz has a juiciness to it that gives the wine a full delectable flavour. Hints of leather, tobacco & cigar smoke are evident with a whisper of pencil shavings, giving it a slight yet whimsical edge. There is some acidity, but nothing over powering & a closer of cracked black pepper. This is a determined & assured pinotage with a surprising coffee essence.
