Rich full bodied nose with hints of Grenache, plum, blackberry, raspberry & a spicy nutmeg. Full mouth feel with slight tannins, a whisky essence with flavours of burnt cinnamon & a brandied fig & prune combination. This is a well made red wine, characterful, a little sweet & rather robust. This would pair well with a heart stammering thriller, a warm spring night & a heady dash of intrigue
