These terms and conditions of use may change from time to time without notice. Use of this site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. Furthermore, these terms and conditions apply exclusively to your access to, and use of this site.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa. Users agree that any legal action or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be brought exclusively in the courts of South Africa.
Once a customer has followed the purchasing steps on the website and paid for their order, this is taken as a confirmation of the same. If the clients’ order is still in transit, the customer may cancel within this timeframe. The customer will then receive a refund for the cost of the goods, minus the courier fees of the initial order and the return of the same to In Vino Veritas. Given that the products supplied are of a perishable nature, In Vino Veritas cannot accept wine back into stock after delivery has been made to a client as no one can guarantee as to how the wines were stored and as such cannot accept cancellations after any delivery has taken place. If for whatever reason any bottles have been broken on delivery, by the courier company, which are not the fault of the client, this will either be credited to the client or replaced depending on the circumstance.
An order shall be complete on confirmation of receipt of payment by In Vino Veritas when:
On completion of the customer’s order, In Vino Veritas shall indicate its acceptance of such order by confirmation email, at which point an agreement of sale is concluded between In Vino Veritas and the customer. In Vino Veritas reserves the right to refuse or accept any order without giving any reasons and/or cancel orders as circumstances dictate. In either event, In Vino Veritas shall not be liable for any losses or damages, including any indirect, special, or consequential damages, suffered by the customer as a result of such refusal or cancellation and shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the customer for the goods, excluding courier fees both ways.
IN VINO VERITAS (PTY) LTD makes every effort to secure excellent QUALITY BOUTIQUE WINES, which we review and rate prior to recommending. We suggest that clients try mixed cases of the wines we have on offer to ascertain what pleases their palates the most. With the exception of the Esona wines, where a minimum of any mixed 12 bottles must be ordered.
We all have different tastes & therefore different palate profiles & as such we cannot guarantee that every palate will be captivated by every bottle. We unfortunately cannot swap any particular bottle for another, once a purchase is made as we are unable to determine as to how said bottle was stored & thus it cannot be resold.
We unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
